Sarah Gross

Sarah Gross comes from Los Angeles and received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California Los Angeles in 2006. In 2011, she received her Master of Arts in Communication Disorders from California State University Los Angeles. Since 2011, Sarah has been a certified member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and licensed as a speech-language pathologist in the state of California.

Enthusiasm for the field along with her love of learning led her to pursue further studies at Northwestern University, completing her clinical doctorate in speech-language pathology in 2021.

Sarah is passionate about supporting social communication and language to foster meaningful connections and relationships in all forms through her work with children, adolescents, and adults, as well as teaching and modeling positive communication strategies to parents, caregivers, and other professionals.

She sees ASD Clubs as a way to provide much-needed opportunities and support in generating and navigating social connections. In addition to the clubs, Sarah sees clients across the lifespan to support meaningful social communication and serves as the inpatient speech-language pathologist at the UCLA Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital. She is also a lecturer for undergraduate students in communication disorders and supervisor for graduate-level clinicians at CSULA.

Amy Wilhelm

Amy Wilhelm is from New York and earned her Bachelor of Science in
Communicative Disorders and Sciences from the State University of New York at Geneseo in 2000. Her graduate studies led her to the west coast where she attained her Master of Science in Communicative Disorders and Sciences from California State University, Northridge in 2002. She is also a certified member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association and licensed by the states of California and Massachusetts in speech-language pathology.

Amy is currently a resident of Los Angeles where she is owner and director of Splash for Speech, Inc.

Amy has always had a passion for working with children and adolescents. Since the completion of her graduate studies, she has engrossed herself into her career and strives to provide the best quality of speech therapy possible. Amy has extensive experience working with children with a wide variety of communication challenges and diagnoses, including childhood apraxia of speech, autism spectrum disorders, executive function disorders, various genetic syndromes, developmental delays, speech and language delays, deaf and hard of hearing, and articulation problems.
